He has a natural aptitude for solving complex problems, whether it’s navigating challenging inspection findings or troubleshooting issues with his properties. Marco’s expertise spans a wide range of projects, from residential repairs to large-scale renovations.

He has been married to Melanie for more than 20 years, and together they have two children. Outside of his professional life, Marco enjoys spending quality time with his family, indulging in his love for soccer, and watching his favorite movies over and over again.

Melanie Miranda-Chief Of Operations

Melanie Miranda brings a wealth of experience from her background as a Licensed Dental Hygienist, where she not only provided top-notch patient care but also gained valuable expertise in department management and business production. Her time in the dental field has given her a deep understanding of the importance of both client relations and operational efficiency.

Outside of her professional life, Melanie is married to Marco, and together they have two children, Natalie and Gunnar. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to new places, and exploring different cultures. In her downtime, Melanie is an avid listener of audiobooks, often immersing herself in a wide range of genres, and she occasionally indulges in her love for nostalgia by playing Ms. Pac-Man.

Shawn Kelly brings a wealth of experience in both plumbing and business management, combining technical expertise with strong organizational skills. With advanced certifications in chimney inspections, termite and wood destroying insect management, and home remodeling, Shawn has developed a broad and versatile skill set that allows him to tackle a wide range of property-related challenges.

His background enables him to manage complex projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality results. As a respected leader, Shawn is known for his ability to guide teams, maintain clear communication, and drive projects to successful completion.

Outside of his professional life, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife, and they share a love for hiking with their dog. He also has a passion for cooking, particularly making homemade pasta, and enjoys watching sports in his downtime.

Joseph McWilliams-Lead Training Inspector/Licensed & Certified Home Inspector

Joe McWilliams brings a diverse skill set and a strong work ethic to everything he does. With extensive experience in garage door installation and service, building maintenance, and advanced certifications in termite and wood-destroying insect management, Joe has developed a deep understanding of both residential and commercial property needs. He is also a specialist in crumbling foundations, further expanding his expertise in property assessment and repair.

His advanced training in commercial inspections allows him to tackle a wide range of property issues with precision. Additionally, Joe is a licensed EMT, demonstrating his commitment to safety and service in all areas of his life. Joe is married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have a little boy, bringing even more joy and fulfillment to their lives.

In his free time, Joe enjoys working on classic cars, riding motorcycles, and taking trips to the beach, where he can unwind and spend quality time with family. Joe’s broad experience, strong sense of responsibility, and dedication to his family make him a well-rounded individual both professionally and personally.

Michael Gyba-Licensed & Certified Home Inspector

Mike Gyba has a diverse and extensive background in the home services industry. He previously owned and operated a painting company, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the business, from design and project planning to execution and completion.

His expertise extends beyond painting, as he holds advanced certification in termite control and the management of wood-destroying insects. Additionally, Mike is a foundation specialist, with a deep understanding of structural integrity and repair. His commitment to professional development is reflected in the multiple certifications he has earned from the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

Outside of his professional life, Mike enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including boating and fishing. He also cherishes his vacations to Aruba, where he enjoys quality time with his significant other, Donna, her family, and his daughter, Emily.

Michael S. Lovell – Home Inspector

Mike is an expert in residential construction and remodeling, with 20 years of hands-on field experience. He has run a successful remodeling company and holds an AS degree in Building Construction Technology from The Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.

Mike’s expertise is further validated by multiple certifications, including Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Green Professional, and Certified Aging in Place Specialist from the National Association of Homebuilders. He is also a Certified Building Analyst through the Building Performance Institute, an EPA Lead Safe Renovator, a Certified Wood Destroying Insect Registry Inspector through the New England Pest Management Association, and certified for Deck Inspection and Evaluation by the North American Deck and Railing Association.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Mike has been married to Brooke for 15 years, and they have two children: Colton, a Software Engineer at IBM, and Laura, who attends Emerson College in Boston. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering as a leader in Cub Scouts/BSA, and, when time allows, continuing the renovation of his own home. Mike’s work ethic, experience, and commitment to his family and community drive everything he does.

Chad Spalthoff

Chad is an energetic Trumbull native whose involvement in his family’s health supply business taught him the value of hard work, perseverance, and a cheerful attitude from an early age. Following the successful sale of that business, Chad began his pursuit of a lifelong passion for all things residential building, and he became a sought-after craftsman specializing in framing, flooring, custom trim work, and cabinetry during his twenty plus year carpentry career.

His hands-on knowledge of fine quality construction methods and attention to detail are key assets as he inspects the wide variety of homes we encounter throughout Fairfield County. Chad has continued his training by attending the Pillar To Post Home Inspection school; becoming certified as a Wood Destroying Insect Registry Inspector by the New England Pest Management Association, and obtaining certification by the North American Deck and Railing Association for Deck Inspections and Evaluations.

Chad is married to Becky and is the proud father of their two daughters, seventeen-year-old, Peyton, and eleven-year-old, Mia. The couple find themselves constantly on-the-go shuttling their girls to school and athletic pursuits. Chad is an avid golfer, enjoys shooting sports, and loves to spend time with Archie, his English Bull Terrier, and his cat Lulu. Not content to inspect all the time, Chad continues to use his carpentry skills and knowledge by restoring their antique home in Trumbull.

Eva Agnew - Home Inspector

Eva Agnew brings a strong foundation in craftsmanship, having graduated from a technical school with a focus on carpentry. Her background in the trade has provided her with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction and design principles.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Eva has a wide range of personal interests. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and pets, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Outside of her professional life, Amanda is married to Chris, and they have four children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is a regular at her kids’ sports events, where she can often be found supporting their athletic activities. Amanda thrives on helping others and takes great satisfaction in seeing people exceed and reach their full potential, whether in her professional role or personal life.

A lifelong Fairfield County resident, Cathy is married to Anthony and has two children Anthony and Gabriella. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
